Rascal Flatts claims the Number One spot on both the Billboard and Country Aircheck/Mediabase Country Airplay charts this week with “Yours If You Want It.” The song is their 17th chart-topping hit.
Joe Don Rooney said, “It’s so humbling for us that the milestones keep coming, and it’s definitely not something that we take for granted. I truly believe that this song found us, and to know that (songwriter) Andrew Dorff, with his passing, loved what we did with the song and that his legacy continues to live on is a blessing. We’re honored to have put our voices on it.”
Although the trio has spent their fair share of time at the top of the country charts over the last decade, Jay DeMarcus tells us that every song that makes it there is significant. “Each one of them are very, very special so you remember the ones that go all the way to the top. And we can’t even believe that we had one, let alone this many, and have been able to have a career this long we feel very blessed. I don’t know, it’s one of those things that kind of blow us away every time we stop and think about how far we’ve come and how long we’ve been able to do this and how great the fans have been over the years.”
“Yours If You Want It” is the debut single from Rascal Flatt's latest album, Back To Us, which was released in May.
