Martina McBride and her husband, John McBribe, are being sued by a former employee who claims the couple used their interns to do such menial jobs as cleaning bathrooms, setting up and tearing down equipment, and delivering food. TMZ reports that in one instance, plaintiff Richard Hanson says that John sent two interns to the McBride's home to check for an intruder, and armed them with a loaded gun.

Hanson claims that he told Martina and John that interns needed to at least be paid mininum wage, but they paid no attention. He wound up reporting them to the Department of Labor and in return Hanson was fired. He's suing for $1 million and other damages.
