Kane Brown's self-titled debut album returned to the top of the Billboard Top Country Albums chart this week for an 11th week on the heels of his live performance of “What Ifs” with Lauren Alaina on the ACM Awards on Sunday (April 15th). Kane just earned three 2018 Billboard Music Awards nominations for Top Country Artist, Top Country Album for his self-titled debut release and Top Country Song for “What Ifs” featuring Lauren Alaina. The BBMA's will be held in Las Vegas on May 20th and air live on NBC beginning at 8 p.m. ET.

Cam has announced she will play her first headline show at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on Wednesday, September 26th with special guest Lucie Silvas. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday (April 20th) at 10 a.m. CT. Earlier this week, Cam appeared as a mentor on the All-Star Duets episode of American Idol.

Randy Scruggs, a Grammy-winning musician, songwriter, producer, studio owner and the son of banjo great Earl Scruggs, died on Tuesday (April 17th) after an illness at the age of 64. Two of his most celebrated production projects are The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band's album Will the Circle Be Unbroken, Vol. 2 and Alison Krauss and Union Station's version of “You Say Nothing at All.”

Kacey Musgraves will be the musical guest on Saturday Night Live on May 12th. She'll appear along with host Amy Schumer.
